Meet Halie
they/she

Halie realized that they wanted to pursue a career in hair after growing up spending afternoons in their aunt’s salon, the only salon in their small rural town. The ability to make people feel empowered- while also getting to be a creative problem solver- was all it took for them to realize that this was a passion she could pursue long-term. And it has been long-term; Halie has spent over 15 years in the industry, and while their skill-sets have grown so exponentially that they now teach educational courses, her love of community in the salon has not changed since growing up alongside their aunt. Halie prioritizes their community by offering easy-to-wear, accessible hairstyles for everyone, using only cruelty-free products, offering sliding scale options and participating in mutual aid as often as possible. Halie’s love for community extends into the animal and environmental community at large by ensuring their practice remains fully vegan. In addition to their career in hair, Halie is a parent and nightlife entertainer who enjoys eating their way through new cities with her family !
